relinquishing parental rights to adopted child

A teenager, who was the natural child of one party, was adopted by the new spouse who never really bonded with the child. The couple have divorced (lived together for about 5 years) and the adopted child wants to "undo" the adoption (his birth mother died when he was a baby). The adoptive parent (and the natural father) also wants this. Can't find any law directly on point. Anyone willing to discuss this with me??
